October is almost gone? Say What?

Umm so yeah, October is here and almost gone. I had hjust recently realized all of the Sept./early Oct. birthdays I missed....totally lame! And I am trying hard to remember the Grandma's! So, i am amazed that it is almost here. Grandma's Birthday! Wish I could be there, thinking Dad should send her a huge boquet of balloons like she got when we got the waterbed! ha.
So things here are grand still trying to figure what little man is going to be for HALLOWEEN! We shall see it will be spooktacular!!We have fall festivial this weekend and we have some fun pictures form pumkin patch as well as a corn maze who knew! They grow corn here too, not just cotton! So i will get some of those pictures posted soon , i hope, no promises! I put a couple cute ones on face book of our baby watermelons still growing in our yard! HA watermelon still growing. So this first picture is my farmy pj's from Gma and Gpa T. Saying it is Pasture bedtime! Mom can't wait to see me in them, I'll have to grow into them. Then the next few pictures we went out to dinner with Aunt Penny and Uncle Tommy after the party to Mi Casita's! It was yummy. Hector brought me free dessert and tried to make me wear a sombrero!! No way Jose!

 So this was the start of the party, sorry Grandmomma! I had to show off the missing cupcakes...they didn't make it to the table...Ha it is funny now.The picture below is of the cake mommy made me...she also made three mini cakes and the cookies were yummy!!! They were suppose to be balloons around the monkey but we had issues with that and not enough room or time to make it happen.

 Check out me and my cake! It looked sooo yummy and it was I got a little of everything...cake, ice cream, cupcake and I loved the cookies with the bright frosting!! Especially since the cookies spelled my name and a number 1!

 My friends brought me some pretty great gifts too! I loved the balloon from Penny and Tommy. I am still playing with it. I love my fire truck, i can climb on and off by myself now and love to turn the music on and dance. Davis and Mallory gave me a farm for the fridge with animal magnets it plays music and helps me to match the front and back of animals together and sings to me.

So not only did Little man have a good day, but Daddy and I had fun just being a part of it It was good to have grandmomma  and great Memaw here too! We were busy busy the whole weekend. So as you can see it was a party full of friend laughter and love, what more could you ask for....no keg unlike someone else's first birthday!!! Ha! FYI

So the link that is added to this is a guy that challenged people to be active for 30 minutes for 100 days consistently any type of movement...I am feeling a theme in my life lately....the mantra is get healthy get health....so I have taken some steps towards that back to WW and have lost 5.6 lbs int he first week (even with a sick baby at home at not much time to exercise). My goal is to not be in the same place at this time next year. I want to be around for my family esp... since i got a late start at it. So celebrate with me cheer me on, encourage me, keep me accountable I need all the support I can get. I have 100's to lose but so much more life to gain... I have lost some but I need to lose more. I am excited for this year, back to teaching middle school which includes some coaching so pray for me as this will cause an adjustment in our family schedule as well, won't know how much till it happens. I am excited to be home in a few weeks lots of family and friends to see and lots of love to be shared with and from out little mister mister! Can't wait to see and hug you all... bringing books for my nieces and nephews! See you soon!

Red,White, & Blue seemed the right thing to do!

Hope you like the new look it just seemed right since we now have 2 summer birthdays in July for our little family! Hope you like it and that it is a little easier to read! We are excited to have a little boy who is growing up too quickly. The Lord has been so good to us. I pray for my sons salvation as well as raising him to be a God fearing young man. I just wished we lived closer to family, we miss you wish you were here to see how fast he is growing up. I can't believe that this is another thing my dad was right about it goes quickly!

Hello all I am trying to get things up once again....

First Wagon Ride

Today was our family fun day at Church to help kick off VBS!
Mommy started out blowing up balloons, hence my yellow balloon (which I chased Molly and Moo with all afternoon laughing like a mad man the whole time!) Then Mommy was off to make Cotton Candy which she did not share at all! Then Daddy and I went on a wagon ride with 2 mules pulling us, yes two donkeys! It was fun and fast so mommy and I went on one later as well.The picture below is for Grampa T look I am in a Race Car, vroom,vroom!

 Here's Daddy and I climbing the really tall slide! It was slow going and then coming down there was no stopping us we came down lickety split. I was wiped out by lunch time and ready for a nap. I slept for an hour then terrorized the dogs with my balloon (mwhahahahha, please excuse my evil laugh) I am so excited for Uncle Anthony and Aunt Michelle and Great g-ma to come we are going to celebrate the 4th of July together! I miss everyone love and hugs Little Man.

So I am almost free this is our last full week of school and then I will be out for the summer break! Wahoo then I can finish the baby book and get the blog a little more updated with pictures! Hopefully and then I can finish the garage....but first VBS and Michael will be gone on youth trips. SO Caleb and I will have a grand time.I hope the wandering grandparents have made it safely to their destination! Happy Mothers Day

Baby Dedication! We choose to wear blues my color coordinated husband and his great taste in colors and getting me out of jeans and t-shirts and into fancy nancy things! ha

Happy Mothers Day! So we celebrated our first official mothers day I received two cards some roses and a certificate to a spa! Ha i guess that officially makes me a mom when i get gifts that allow me to go somewhere other then home to relax! We had a wonderful Easter full of family and friends. Caleb's baby dedication went very well. It was wonderful to be able to share that with our family as well as the church family. Michael is getting ready to go see his brothers graduation and he is excited to go do that. I just feel bad that I am not able to tag along, which means little man will stay with me as well. So Caleb and I  send our heartfelt congratulations and we are so proud of you! Caleb is growing up so quick I cannot believe it. My dad has always said kids are like sponges and they grow up too fast I have to admit he is right about it! Well I just wanted to send some love and updates real quick

Sea legs!

So here is a quick little picture of Caleb as he continues to learn how to get his legs under him as well as how to best use them to stand! He is working so hard! Now we just need to get some teeth growing! Enjoy!

So little Mister Caleb has learned how to clap it is sooooo cute!!! He will clap his little hands together and then look at us and we are like yea, hooray good job clap clap clap and he smiles and claps again! He is so precious. He loves to play with the metal tongs, a pot , his rocco monkey, he hangs out in his excersaucer every morning! He is moving and grooving like crazy he is a fast little. Always headed straight for the dogs water dish it has become a game of who can get their first he tries to fake you out like oh i am headed down the hall NOT! scamper scamper to the water dish as momma runs for it and hops over him to put it up! He now tops the scale at 18 pounds and is still getting longer. we have lowered his crib so he does not try to continue to climb out of the crib, yet now the rail is at biting level so here's hoping there will not be too many bite marks in the wood! Just wanted to update ya!! love

So hard to believe

It is so hard to believe that the above picture is of Michael and Caleb at like day 5 of life. The photo to the right is Caleb at 6 months...time is flying by so fast I cannot believe that he is now 7 months old. He is crawling like a mad man chasing the dogs through the house. He is also pulling up on anything he can and letting go to see how long he can balance there before he falls. So needless to say he is taking some tumbles. We are now done with all of the antibiotics. He loves bath time it is one of his favorite things to do other then spending time with Dad and laughing his head off. He loves his daddy so much. He is full of smiles and laughter all the time, God has blessed us so much with Caleb in our lives. We pray for him to be a Godly man after God's heart. We are having a tough adjustment to the time change but we are getting there. We are looking forward to the grandparents that are coming in April. We can't wait I am just trying to figure out how I am going to get all the cleaning done! Ha

Moving & Grooving!

So I have finally figured out how to move it, move it!! I have to admit that going backwards at first was easier, now however I am in full gear ahead!! I am just cruising around Moo doesn't know what to do when I head her way, Molly just walks next to me! They are learning where I am there is food too.
Today Mom and I are hanging out with My friend Landers from Church. His day care lady got sick and his Mommy and Daddy still had to work so he came to spend the day with us! We are both napping at the moment and Mommy is writing this for me. My friend is a big guy he is one years old like my cousin Micah! I had fun playing with his firetruck until i cracked myself in the head with the ladder.  So today we are just chilling moms doing some laundry and the dogs are barking a the neighbors! We went on a short trip to Raleigh this weekend for some shopping. Daddy got some suits and he looks mighty dapper. Very handsome says Mommy. Our Valentines banquet at church turned out very well. Caleb was the kitchen supervisor he made sure all the appetizers and salads got out. Then he went and ate dinner and he was back just in time to help serve the main meal of steak and chicken his favorite though was dessert, Hershey bar pie, lemon torte, and red velvet cake yum-o! We had a great turnout of people supporting the youth 80 people rsvp'd 75 showed up! It was a great time. Well Just wanted to say a quick howdy do!

 So here are some of our winter photo's so far! Caleb wasn't so sure about the snow at first! Of course the first thing Mom had him do was to try eating it and no it wasn't the yellow kind either!Then we moved on to actually getting into the snow and making a snow angel! It was so cute he was trying hard to keep his eyes open but the snow was falling right in them.

 Me and My Daddy Look how much we are the same: both like to wear hats (they keep us warm) with a hoodie, we are very handsome too!! Like to smile at Momma! She is too silly! Dad knew it was snowing and he didn't wake her she was a little miffed but not for long once we got to go play in it! Just long enough but not too long, us southern boys were turning into Popsicle's! Ha.
When we got home from TN there was snow and it melted the above pictures were the snow day mid Jan. right after Mom had been back to work for a week. But the next few pictures are from Christmas in Fayetteville, with just Me, mom & dad. It was fun.

This is my favorite picture of Caleb and I! I love that you can see the snow falling and he is kinda like I am not so sure about this Mom. Are you sure it's safe? It was wonderful to see snow here! It is such a rare sight. May not see it here for a few years again!

This is Caleb in his Johnny Jumper...i could not get the video to post. Any suggestions? I see that J2 uses you tube to post hers how about you Squeaky? How do you load yours? Just curious. Hello Hello

So hopefully this weekend I can get some of the photos and video's up that we have taken....there are so many cute ones! I love seeing all the ones of my nieces and nephews!! They are fabulous and gorgeous! Mister Mister has been so fussy as of late even the day care ladies have noticed! They think he is getting all four of his teeth at once we shall see if their prediction is right. SO we actually have a semi-free weekend this weekend. We are hoping to get soem family time in and I may attend a baking class one of the ladies from church hosts. So all in all it should be good. I have chopped my hair.....oh yes I did I finally did it I got bangs.....and now oh yeah.... my sisters were right... i shouldn't have done it. I got the big thick bangs...as i have experienced this past week I got the high maintance bangs I should have just gotten a few in front those would have been easier to work with so now I am still a pony tail wearing bang person but i also have half the bangs pulled back in a barret...oh well it'll grow back....hmmm pregnancy would help it to grow faster too wouldn't it?? HA another bonus for having babies longer hair faster! Anywho... just wanted to say a quick hi and I hope to get some stuff up esp the johnny jumper video!!! love ya miss ya
